The Singles
Simon lost, Paul won, Geoff lost, Martin T lost, Rich won, Peachey lost, Horse won and Martin H won.
The Doubles
Simon and Paul won, Geoff & Martin T lost, Rich & Peachey won, Horse & Martin H won.The Rest
We lost the top 4 (What do you have to say about the rock solid top four now eh?webmaster), won the bottom 4, and won match on the 8.
Not as comfortable as the 12-7 (2-1) victory suggests!
Points of note: -
Simon (the only one brave enough to replace Tony at number.1) and Paul
win the first double!!!!!!!!
The Hook and Glove kept telling us how they hadn't won all year and getting
very exited when they were leading. Well, they still haven't won!
This is mainly thanks to Rich, Horse (making his come back after being let out to stud), and Martin H, all of whom were unbeaten on the night.
The Green Dragon have now won a massive 11 out of 15 league points!
Some early season stats: -
Paul is unbeaten in singles as usual (yawn): 4 out of 4. (Rich, Martin
H, and Tony have only lost 1 each).
Peachey is only player not to win a single: 0 out of 3.
Simon and Martin H unbeaten in doubles: 4 out of 4, and 5 out of 5.
Rich and Martin H unbeaten in 4's: 5 out of 5.
Martin junior has yet to lose a leg of any description in his 2
matches.
