A 15-4 victory - and against 8 players, all male! Another three points for the Dragon who must be top of the table for sure!
The facts:
Tony lost, Paul and Geoff won, (this is not a mistake, yes, Geoff WON!) Martin T. lost, Rich, Martin junior, Simon and Martin H all won. (6 points)
Lost first 2 doubles - Tony & Paul, Geoff & Martin T, won the second two doubles - Rich & Martin junior, Simon & Martin H. (2 points)
Won both the fours. (4 points)
Won the eight. (3 points)
Points of note: The Tony jinx continues on whoever plays at number 2 - still haven't won a double.
Is new captain Martin H's new order of play working or what? 8 league points out of 9! Or are we just in a shite league having been relegated!
Rich checks out a 71 and Simon follows that with a 96.
Bottom 4 of Rich, the two Martin H's, and Simon don't lose a thing all night! I always knew the bottom 4 held the team together! (hmm.. that's not what you used to say when you played in the top four - webmaster)
Not only has Tony lost the captaincy, he has hit rock bottom now - wearing a Spurs shirt to a darts match! They're not used to winning 3 points!
