Won both fours. (Winning 10 - 6).
The Eight
Lost eight. (Won match 10 - 9; two points).
The story of the night: -
Tony once again proves the theory that we win matches when he loses his single.
Peachey's losing streak in the singles ends at 8 as he finally finds the outer ring.
Simon hits a 180 in his first chuck of the night, and goes on to win his 4th single on the trot.
Paul wins everything except the eight even though he is driving and hence sober - and he told me all season I had to drive as he couldn't play sober!
Horse wins his fifth single on the trot despite limping around like an old woman all night.
Martin H's recent nightmare form continues. He has now been displaced from the top of the stats table at the crucial time of the season.
Rich plays a blinding double (as the player at the top of the stats table should) and checks out a 112 finish.
Geoff hits a double!!!!!!! This clinches the vital first four. Simon then checks out double 9 in the second four to clinch the match (after Rich had mistakenly thrown two darts at double 16).
Geoff points out there was a spelling mistake in last weeks report. Simon blames the piss poor editor. (I just cut and paste straight out of your emails. Ed.)
